Systems Support Officer

Adkins & Cheurfi are working on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council who are looking for a Systems Support Officer to contribute to the effective running of the business support team; to deliver a high quality, customer focussed service responding to queries; To help maintain the ERP systems we support, to ensure that these meet statutory requirements and customer needs.

This System Support Officer will be remote working from the start of the placement, and then a few days a week at the Council’s new site at Alconbury Weald. The position has the possibility of being extended/ becoming permanent after the initial 13 week period.

The Systems Support Officer team provides operational level, functional and technical support to users of the various LGSS ERP platforms, including but not limited to ERP systems. Business Support Assistant

Business Support role but working for the Corporate Leadership Team.  We’re looking for a proactive person who is able to take on the administration/secretariat for the weekly CLT meeting – lots of agenda setting, forward planning, talking to senior people to obtain the papers in a timely manner, puling them together, sense checking and minuting the meeting on an adhoc basis (to cover for me).  Alongside this, they’d also have a couple of boards that would be in their control in terms of secretariat, and particularly pulling together and chasing actions.  The other part of the role would be assisting the team of Senior Exec Assistants during busy periods doing adhoc tasks such as diary management, pulling docs together and a bit of phone cover.  It is a site based role at Civic centre as we’d like them to collect visitors, ensure rooms are ready, set up Smartboards – logistical things like that.

 

It would be an ideal role for someone who wants to get an overall picture of working for a local  Council and who may be aspiring to an SEA role in the future.
