Adkins & Cheurfi are looking for an experienced Developer to help design, evolve and support our strategic API Management system, together with helping to skill share across the team. This role will be for an initial 6 months, but should be extended for the those who can show the right technical and interpersonal capabilities.

Duties may include

• Developing and extending Python-based AWS Lambda APIs
• Building new Java classes to extend our API Management platform
• Working with the Solutions Architect to design and deliver product features
• Technically Lead the team, including mentoring junior developers
• Assisting testing and peer reviews of technical delivery
• Providing technical advice to internal users of the system

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

Senior Commercial Manager

Reporting to the Head of Commercial – Commissioning and Operational, the Senior Commercial Manager is responsible for deploying the Commercial vision and plans which encompass day-to-day spend with suppliers together with strategic plans developed by the Category Management team for all spend areas excluding  Grants, Science and International Development Communities within the Organisation.

 

The position holder will manage the pipeline of commercial activities, allocating work on a day-to-day basis across the operational commercial team.  The prime responsibility is to oversee and manage a range of procurements and market approaches, ensuring effective solutions are achieved, value for money achieved alongside compliance with Government Commercial standards and the Organisation’s internal procedures.

1.      Support the project team in the selection, implementation (and assurance) of an ECommerce capability.

 

Responsibilities

Designing the Ecommerce solution: In collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders you will create appropriate architectural design documentation for the Met Office’s future Ecommerce capability (which is driven by user need and customer experience).
