My client a well established legal firm in Newcastle is urgently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the the team.
This is a full time position, initially for 3 months with the view to go permanent
Main Duties:
- Managing both the accounts payable and receivables
- Preparing VAT Returns
- Resolving supplier queries
- Reconciling bank statements
- Reconciling petty cash account
- Processing staffs monthly expenses
Requirements:
- AAT qualified or part qualified
- Minimum of 2 years accounts assistant experience
- Experience of using sage 50 is an advantage but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Accuracy and ability to work to strict deadlines
